How to clean under your walk behind lawnmower:

1. Turn off your mower
2. Remove spark plug wire from spark plug to prevent mower from accidentally starting
3. Tip mower so the air filter is up
4. Be careful, parts can be sharp under the mower
5. Scrape grass out
6. Tip back up and reconnect spark plug wire
7. For best results, keep mower tipped for as short of time as possible and clean before grass has a chance to dry under the deck
